We want to assist as many people as possible - but of course there has to be rules on who gets help and who doesn't! If the below apply to you then get in touch right away and we'll see what we can do: Emergency - You have an unusual expense that has recently popped up that you need help with. Sudden - You have a regular expense, that because of an unexpected, temporary loss of income you need help paying. Surprise - You have an expense that, for good reason, is suddenly much larger than normal and you need help paying it off. If none of the above relate to you - it is likely that you will need to get in touch with some other organisations that might be able to help. Or contact us directly and we'll give you free, independent and sensible advice. Remember this is a one-off helping hand! Application Process The button below will take you to our grant application form. Given that our donors are not corporates, but normal people like you, we want to ensure that every penny gets to the people that need it most. Therefore, we have to ask you to document your request and prove your income. There are various ways to do that that are detailed in the form. Please take the time to fill out the form fully as it will help your application be processed quicker. |
Donors
This is your charity. You have the power to change someone's life and as such our ambition is to give you the freedom to do just that. To repay your faith in our ability to provide prompt and effective help we make the following promises to you; Honesty - we have made a promise to you – and we fully intend to keep our word. We don't deviate from our mission, and while we'd like to grow to the point that we can reach more of the people who need our help, we'd rather be small and efficient than big and extravagant. Appreciation – we are firm believers that there is no such thing as a donation that’s too small. We know, first-hand, that every penny can improve a situation. Although, we are forever grateful to our large donors, even a few pounds here and there can make all the difference and we welcome every penny just the same. Transparency – we deliberately run a lean team. We go to great lengths ensuring that everything goes to those most in need and not to pay for our operations. We maintain an exhaustive list of all of our applications and donations and fully detail where every penny from a donor goes. We’re happy to share a breakdown for your donation whenever you want. Safety – Once you’ve decided to change a life, rest assured we won’t be barraging you with requests for more money. You may receive our newsletter a few times a year and have the choice to receive updates from the team should you wish (totally your call). If you want to opt out completely, we’ll respect your wishes. |
